Tsim Sha Tsui East is the area of Chatham Road South reclaimed from the Hung Hom bay in the 1970s. It officially bounds the area between Chatham Road South to the West, Salisbury Road to the East, and Austin Road to the North. The area stretch to strip of bars, restaurants and cafes, offices, luxurious hotels, refreshments, and other businesses that serve as the main attraction.
The shoreline sidewalk in Tsim Sha Tsui East is the best place to gain uninterrupted access to view the best skylines in Hong Kong Island and the symphony of lights with lasers, skylights, searchlights, and LED that are used for visual effects. Some people used it as a jogging area and a hang out for some time. The place has metal railings for tourists and locals to avoid slip accidents into the water.
Despite the exodus of high rise building in the area, The Urban Council Centenary Garden is a place frequented by people especially during the Christmas season and Chinese New Year. During the celebration the place is packed with colorful decoration, and other activities were being held there. At night, people from all walks of life stroll around the Tsim Sha Tsui East for shopping, bar hopping, and disco all throughout as if there is no dull moment on their faces.
A day of exploring Tsim Sha Tsui East wouldn’t be enough given that it is packed with different shops of all kinds of merchandise that will entice your eyes. If you are looking for a place to stay, you have nothing to worry as hotels that offer comfortable amenities are almost in every corner. It goes with travel agents and airlines for tourists convenience.
Getting to Tsim Sha Tsui East can be done by bus or MTR by exiting P1 then walk along Mody Road for about five minutes. But the location suggests better explore on foot for an enjoyable experience and better appreciation. Tsim Sha Tsui East means shopping, dining, wining, and relaxation with a bottom line Commerce. Definitely you will have unforgettable moments while spending time in this beautiful place.
