Ngong Ping 360 Cable Cars
Formerly known as the Tung Chung Cable Car Project, the Ngong Ping 360 was a tourism project of the Hong Kong government which was based on Lantau Island. Being a remote location, tourists are obliged to take a bus service and travel via the mountain road in order to reach the Tian Tan Buddha (Big Buddha) and Po Lin Monastery in Ngong Ping area. With its rising popularity, Ngong Ping 360 has introduced an easier means of accessing these popular destinations and gave its visitors a truly enjoyable journey via a 5.7 kilometer cable car ride from Tung Chung to Ngong Ping area.

Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car Ride
Featured as an ideal means of exploring the beauty of Lantau Island, tourists shall begin their journey with 25 to 30 minutes of cable car ride which starts from Tung Chung Terminal. Ngong Ping 360’s Cable Car System is composed of 112 cabins. Each of these cabins is designed to accommodate a group of 10 people seated comfortably and is capable of moving around 3,500 people per hour.

Each cabin is enclosed in glass and Crystal Cabin features a glass bottom which allows its passengers to enjoy an astonishing view of the Lantau Island.
